Welcome to the Modular Off Road Vehicle Project.
The MORV website outlines the work carried out in the design and development stages of a modular off road vehicle (known from this point on as M.O.R.V).
The M.O.R.V vehicle can be adapted for use on a variety of terrains. Unlike a standard ‘All terrain vehicle’ it has a modular design to allow various ‘Kits’ to be attached to enable it to traverse the required environment.
The ‘Modular off Road Vehicle’ is designed to allow the attachment of different ‘kits’ to a single seater, ZX-10R motor-bike engined base vehicle to allow it to travel across almost any desired terrain.
The Kits will be tailored to specific terrains, but may be suitable for a number of given requirements. The conditions catered for are as follows:
Arctic Kit
Jungle Kit
Desert Kit
Dirt Kit
The kits are designed for ease of attachment and will require very little technical knowledge (similar to that of changing a wheel on a car!) and time to change from one terrain kit to another.
